Christmas is not the most glamorous holidays in my household (we abide by a strict cozy-attire-only dress code). But for my sister’s New Year’s Eve party, I plan on to gussy up – and this emerald green wrap dress from Amazon fits the bill.
The velvet fabric, along with the vertical line design, gives off a casual elegance that is versatile enough to be paired with simple boots or sky-high heels and statement jewelry. And since it’s a wrap style, I can customize the fit and split in the leg, making it more or less revealing as I please.
Along with the soft material (and I mean soft), the dress also consists of elastane, which gives it quite a lot of stretch. It’s lightweight, but still warm – which is important this time of year. But my favorite part is the openness of the sleeves, which don’t crowd my underarms and are long and flowy. From head to toe, this is the perfect dress to don while ringing in the new year.
