❄️ Millions brace for a severe storm expected to bring snow, ice and blizzard conditions to several states.

Winter weather advisories have affected 13 million people from Nevada to Wisconsin, with blizzard warnings in four states, as the National Weather Service warned of a "massive storm system" that will affect the Central and Southern U.S. for days. South Dakota is expected to close some major highways today due to the conditions, while up to a foot of snow is predicted in the Rockies. The snow and ice are expected to move into the Great Lakes region by tomorrow, while tornadoes, hail and high winds are possible across the South. 📽️ The most eye-opening snubs and surprises from this year's Golden Globes nominations.

The Golden Globe nominations were released yesterday, and voters apparently lost that lovin' feeling for Tom Cruise. He was one of the omissions that raised eyebrows after starring in the hugely popular "Top Gun: Maverick," while Jennifer Lawrence (“Causeway") and Keke Palmer ("Nope") were two other big names left off the list. "Yellowstone" got no love despite being one of television's biggest hits. There also were surprises like the recent breakout Netflix hit "Wednesday." 🐕 A couple whose dog accidentally ate 15 Jell-O shots on New Year's Eve have this advice for pet owners. 

A Minnesota couple that left out some vodka Jell-O shots they had brought to various holiday festivities last New Year's Eve is sharing advice after waking up to find their dog slurping the shots down in the kitchen. "He was legit stumbling drunk. We were panicked," owner Tyler Kronstedt told us. They took their dog to a pet hospital, where he was treated for low blood-sugar levels and given IV fluids. The two are warning others to keep alcohol away from where pets can get to it after their frightening experience. A toxicologist also spoke with us about how alcohol can be fatal to pets. 

A college student studying abroad is missing in France.

Ken DeLand, a 22-year-old senior at St. John Fisher University in New York, has gone missing while studying abroad in Grenoble, France, authorities said. He last contacted his family on Nov. 27, and he was last seen on Dec. 3 on surveillance footage at a sports store in Montelimar, France, police said. Local authorities have opened an investigation into his "disturbing disappearance." Here's the latest on the search.

Not only that, but there was another "Vacation" legend in the house.
