For anyone who needs motivation to exercise, meet 100-year-old Les Savino who drives himself to the gym most days of the week for a three-hour workout.
“Most people at 100 no longer enjoy life. My days are just as normal as when I was 30,” Savino, who lives independently in Hanover, Pennsylvania, tells TODAY.com. “Exercise is much better than medicine… A lot of people just live on pills, but I don’t.”
Savino lifts weights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. He does cardio on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The great-grandfather has never had a major illness like cancer or heart disease. He has a sharp mind and memory. Tap the link to discover his longevity secrets, including his diet, love of martinis and the tasty Italian treat he enjoys once a week. |
