Police release their most substantial information in weeks in the University of Idaho slayings. Plus, the highly anticipated Netflix series featuring Prince Harry and the former Meghan Markle premieres today, and Google shares its most popular searches of 2022. 

Police are looking to speak with the occupants of a vehicle that was in the area on the night of the Idaho stabbings.

The Moscow Police Department has asked the public for help in tracking down the occupants of a white Hyundai Elantra made between 2011 and 2013 they say was in the immediate area of the home where four University of Idaho students were killed on Nov. 13. Police, who are still waiting for DNA evidence to be processed, said the occupants may have "critical information to share." Authorities are also looking to piece together a five-hour gap starting at 8 or 9 p.m. when two of the victims, Ethan Chapin and Xana Kernodle, were reportedly seen leaving a fraternity party and then weren't placed at Kernodle's house until about 1:45 a.m. Here's the latest. 

👑 Harry and Meghan's clash with the royal family takes center stage as their new Netflix series premieres today.  

The first three episodes of "Harry & Meghan," the much-anticipated Netflix series on Prince Harry and the former Meghan Markle, were released today, and it's clear the couple is looking to set the record straight about the conflict that led to their break with the British royal family. The episodes feature unseen footage, the story of their courtship (they met on Instagram) and the intense media scrutiny they faced. Harry vents his anger at the British tabloids, calling it his "duty" to uncover the "exploitation" and "bribery" he says are commonplace. Meghan says in episode two that members of the media “paid certain neighbors” near her home in Toronto “to put a livestream camera into my backyard.” Read more here.

Jeez, you guys are really obsessed with Wordle. (Hold on, we just need to post our results from today's game real quick). Forget elections, wars, celebrity drama and the death of Queen Elizabeth II  — they all took a backseat to Wordle on Google's top search terms of 2022. The polarizing Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial made those two exes the No. 1 and No. 3 most-Googled people, while Will Smith (and his Oscars slap) were No. 2. We didn't talk about Bruno, but we Googled him plenty, as "Encanto" was the most-searched movie and had the two most-searched songs. The TODAY family said an emotional goodbye yesterday to a beloved former staffer known for his infectious laugh, generosity and supportive presence over 35 years with the show. Former senior stage manager Mark Traub died at 64 from leukemia on Tuesday, less than four years after he retired from NBC. "He was so generous with his laugh, and he was so generous to all of us, and I have to say, our hearts are broken," Savannah Guthrie said. Mark was particularly close with Al Roker, who remembered his friend on Instagram. "The laugh you always heard in the background for years on @todayshow was our stage manager, (Mark Traub) and when he retired, some of our spark diminished," Al wrote. "Sadly, that light is gone after a long battle. Take care, Mark. You are so missed." See all the remembrances of Mark here.
