Hurricane Fiona becomes a Category 4 storm, and an influential government panel recommends all U.S. adults under 65 get screened for anxiety by their doctors. Plus, a parenting trend known as "sittervising" says it's OK to hang back and give kids space to play by themselves. 

Hurricane Fiona strengthens to a Category 4 storm as it moves away from Turks and Caicos.

Hurricane Fiona became a Category 4 storm this morning with maximum sustained winds of 130 miles per hour, according to the National Hurricane Center. The storm, which battered Puerto Rico on Sunday, passed through Turks and Caicos yesterday with minimal damage. It's now expected to approach Bermuda by tomorrow, where a tropical storm watch is in effect.

All U.S. adults should get routine screenings for anxiety, an influential health panel finds.

For the first time, the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force has recommended that all U.S. adults under 65 should be regularly screened by their doctors for anxiety. Screening commonly involves short questionnaires about symptoms like fears and worries that interfere with everyday life. Anxiety disorders are among the most common mental health complaints among U.S. adults, and the task force said the benefits of finding effective treatment for anxiety outweigh potential risks like inaccurate screening results. Adam Levine denied a claim he had an affair, but said he used 'poor judgment' and 'crossed the line.' 

The Maroon 5 frontman made his first comments yesterday after an Instagram model said in a TikTok video that she had an affair with the married singer and showed DMs she said Levine sent her. "A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air," Levine posted on Instagram stories yesterday. "I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY king of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life." Levin's wife, Behati Prinsloo Levine, is reportedly pregnant with the couple's third child.

What is 'sittervising'? This parenting trend is all about giving kids space (without feeling guilty about it).

You've entertained your child with everything from Legos to hide-and-seek. Now it might be time for some "sittervising." An expression coined by former teacher Susan Allison on her Busy Toddler Instagram page, it means supervising your kids while sitting down and not directly engaging with them. "Play helps children develop, both alone and with adults," she told TODAY Parents. "However, when parents play 100% of the time, kids lose the benefits of play, such as spatial awareness or risk management and conflict settlement."

David Hove, 11, was just trying to sell some lemon-cranberry scones for the business he started with his sister outside their Toronto home when he had to take a quick bathroom break. He came back outside to find that his table, cooler, water bottle and foil had all been stolen. (Thankfully he had brought the scones and cash box inside.) After David's father expressed his heartbreak over the theft to CTV News Toronto, the family's neighbors came through with a new table, cooler and $20 to put The Hove Delights back in business. “They’re very nice and kind and awesome," David told us. "People are very generous."
