The Jan. 6 congressional committee is set to reveal its findings on live TV tonight: 'It'll change history.' 

The House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol will present its findings in a 90-minute prime-time event tonight at 8 p.m. EST. A committee aide told NBC News that the first of a series of hearings will reveal new details behind the violence on Jan. 6 and that it was part of a coordinated attempt to stop the transfer of power from former President Trump to President Biden. “It’ll change history,” said Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger, one of the two Republicans who serve on the panel. Here's how to watch the hearings. 

11-year-old Uvalde survivor recounts heartbreaking story of playing dead to avoid the shooter.

Fourth grader Miah Cerrillo appeared in taped testimony before a House committee yesterday and shared how the gunman in the mass shooting at Robb Elementary killed her teacher and her friend. She recounted putting blood on herself to play dead and using her teacher's phone to call 911. The parents of another fourth grader who was killed in the shooting shared their haunting memories and urged Congress to act on new gun laws. Meanwhile, the House passed a slate of bills to restrict gun access, but the package faces long odds in the Senate. 

🍭 A royal spouse shares the relatable reason behind Prince Louis' antics at the queen's Jubilee.

The funny faces and exasperated reactions by Prince Louis that stole the show at Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee last weekend were perfectly understandable after finding out what caused them: a good, old-fashioned sugar rush. Former rugby player Mike Tindall, who is married to the queen's granddaughter Zara, said on a podcast that the 4-year-old prince loaded up on candy before the event and was on "a complete sugar high." We've all been there, Louis!

New drug leads to 'substantial' weight loss in people with obesity. 

A drug approved to treat type 2 diabetes has also been found to cause significant weight loss in people with obesity,  researchers reported in The New England Journal of Medicine. About 9 out of 10 people with obesity lost weight while taking the drug, tirzepatide, the study's lead author told us. Patients lost an average of 35 to 52 pounds depending on their dose over the course of almost 18 months, which is comparable to what doctors see with gastric bypass surgery, according to our own Dr. Natalie Azar. The drug has not yet been approved by the FDA as an obesity treatment.

She is not in the new film, which comes out tomorrow, but it does feature her old co-stars from the original, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill.
