Country music star Carrie Underwood’s path to fitness started “small” – she began incorporating short bouts of physical movement in her life and tried working out with weights in her hands.
“The better I started feeling about myself, the more I wanted to do,” Underwood said. “Everybody around me benefits from me taking that little time – 20 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour, whatever it is.”
She and her fitness coach, Eve Overland, recently joined the 3rd hour of TODAY to demonstrate a simple workout you can do anywhere. In an unusual and fun twist, a deck of playing cards helps determine which body part you move and how many reps you do.
