What’s a great way to make your relationship exciting again? Matchmaker Bela Gandhi advises the 30-second hug -- a long, extended embrace that you "melt" into. This longer hug enables oxytocin to start bubbling in your system — which is the attachment hormone. If 30 seconds sounds too long, start with 10-second hugs and build up to 30 seconds.
“It’s is one of the warmest, most bonding things you can do with your spouse,” Gandhi said. “Men love touch, and women enjoy a loving, warm touch, which a hug is. Indulge in a longer embrace each morning, and watch how your nights with each other get warmer and more sizzling!”

Even when we know people’s names, why do we go for days without using them? By using someone’s name, you help them feel seen and acknowledged — and that’s an act of kindness. According to kindness.org’s research in collaboration with the University of Oxford, doing a kind act increases happiness, well-being, trust and compassion. And it can have the same powerful effect on those who receive the act. Try it, and put a smile on both your faces. |

The benefits of intermittent fasting are clear: the plans can be easy to follow, some don’t require any calorie counting and they can make people healthier.
So how do you boost your chances of intermittent fasting success? To keep hunger in check, eat high-fiber foods, such as nuts, beans, fruits and vegetables; and high-protein foods, including meat, fish, tofu or nuts; during your eating window. Chewing high-fiber gummies can also help. Drink lots of water because people tend to think they're hungry, when they are really just thirsty.
Follow the link to see more tips for intermittent fasting success, including when to exercise and whether it’s OK to skip breakfast. |
