From a new job to finding love to forming friendships, we all want to create a better life. It starts with how you connect with people, says “Leading Clarity” author Brad Deutser.
“We all have the ability to connect. We just have to work at it,” he notes.
One of his favorite ways to do that is to make an effort to add 15 seconds to every conversation – whether it’s face-to-face, by phone or by text. In every interaction, be intentional about what you say, give context and think about the person you’re talking to as a friend, a parent, a human. It sets you up for better communication and the chance to get the outcome you want.

Even when we know people’s names, why do we go for days without using them? By using someone’s name, you help them feel seen and acknowledged — and that’s an act of kindness. According to kindness.org’s research in collaboration with the University of Oxford, doing a kind act increases happiness, well-being, trust and compassion. And it can have the same powerful effect on those who receive the act. Try it, and put a smile on both your faces. |

It’s almost time to put away the boots and break out the sandals. Are your feet ready for spring?
Well, if your toes and soles could use a little TLC, there is one specific product that may be able to help. The Baby Foot peel is a boxed kit that contains a pair of plastic booties pre-filled with an exfoliating gel made from natural extracts. You soak your feet for an hour, and the gel seeps into multiple layers of your skin. Days later, your skin begins to peel off – painlessly and naturally – revealing smooth, soft skin underneath. Click the link below to learn more about the product! |
