Miso paste has been a staple in my Japanese family for hundreds of years. It's the perfect way to get natural probiotics as well as an immunity boost and overall gut-health boost in the morning! With the combination of sliced avocado and togarashi and/or chili flakes on top, this is a simple and delicious way to start the morning.
Technique tip: Using coconut oil with the miso paste faced down creates a slight browning of the toast, making it delectable and the perfect amount of seasoning. You can use a silicone brush to help spread the oil.
