Spooky season has fully taken over Larry Birkhead and daughter Dannielynn’s household.
Birkhead and Dannielynn, the 18-year-old daughter of the late Anna Nicole Smith, joined other horror movie fans at GalaxyCon’s Nightmare Weekend Miami event for some scary fun.
Dannielynn attended the event, which was held from Oct. 18 to 20, dressed as a character from the popular slasher film franchise “Terrifier.”
The proud dad shared a carousel of photos on Instagram Oct. 20 showing Dannielynn’s terrifying costume and the different scary movie characters they encountered during their father-daughter weekend.
In the first photo, Birkhead and Dannielynn smiled while posing alongside the chilling Art the Clown from the “Terrifier” films. Dannielynn looked equally frightening as she re-created “The Little Pale Girl” costume from the franchise. She sported black-and-white clown makeup, had half of her hair up in a messy pigtail and wore a black-and-white dress covered in fake blood. Meanwhile, her dad simply wore a “Terrifier” t-shirt.
The second snap revealed that Dannielynn also ran into another well-known horror film villain: Michael Myers from “Halloween.”
Dannielynn and Birkhead then met “Terrifier” franchise stars David Howard Thornton and Lauren LaVera as well as director Damien Leone at the fan event.
Amid the scary pictures, Birkhead also included an adorable selfie he took of him and his daughter riding in the car together.
“Had a Terrifying weekend meeting the cast of the ‘Terrifier’ at @galaxyconmiami Nightmare Weekend,” he captioned the slideshow, adding that his daughter thought of the idea to dress as “The Little Pale Girl.”
He continued, “We got lucky enough to take a picture with @davidhowardthornton in his ‘Art The Clown’ costume. Then got to talk with him afterwards as well.”
He complimented Thornton and said that the actor praised Smith.
“(Thornton) was super nice and humble and told Dannieylnn how iconic her mother was,” Birkhead wrote. “This was truly a special moment seeing that he is turning in iconic performances himself as ‘Art The Clown’ in these crazy ‘Terrifier’ movies!”
Birkhead also mentioned chatting with LaVera and Leone before encouraging his followers to see “Terrifier 3,” which was released in theaters Oct. 11.
“Take a barf bag or two,” he warned his followers.
On his Instagram story, Birkhead uploaded more snaps, including a picture of Dannielynn with Jigsaw from “Saw”
Fans reacted to Dannielynn’s costume and applauded Birkhead’s relationship with his daughter in the comments on his post.
“Wow! Loved Terrifier 3! Dani is the best pale girl! Such a wonderful and supportive daddy!!!” one said.
Another wrote, “She seems in her element and lovin’ it. That’s awesome!”
A third commented, “Looks like fun — but come on dad, you need to up your costume game!”
Birkhead replied, “Agree. I have a few more days to get my official one ready,” and included a crying-laughing emoji.
While he is still putting the finishing touches on his costume, his daughter has been embracing the Halloween spirit for weeks.
To celebrate her 18th birthday on Sept. 7, she donned a black gown with spiderweb fabric and black lipstick, her dad revealed on Instagram. She also celebrated her special day at the Beetlejuice Afterlife Experience in California and watched the sequel “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.”
“Dannielynn found a Hot Topic store to get a spooky outfit for all the fun ! Happy 18th Birthday Dannielynn !” he wrote in the caption.
