Congratulations to “Love Is Blind” Season 1 couple Amber and Matt Barnett. The Barnetts, who said “I do” on the show, will soon welcome their first child together.
Amber and Matt Barnett shared their pregnancy news during an appearance on “The Love Seat” podcast Oct. 8, which is co-hosted by fellow “Love Is Blind” Season 1 stars Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed-Hamilton.
Toward the end of the podcast, Amber and Matt Barnett revealed what they have been up to since their season aired in 2020. Amber said she recently decided to go back to school before adding, “And then over summer break, he just went and knocked me up.”
Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed-Hamilton congratulated the couple by celebrating and clapping.
“There’s a baby Barnett on the way!” Lauren Speed-Hamilton cheered.
Amber Barnett said the baby could’ve been conceived during Cameron Hamilton’s recent birthday party.
“Little baby B might come out ready to throw down with us,” she joked.
Amber Barnett said the pregnancy was “unexpected.”
Cameron Hamilton chimed in and said he was looking forward to being an uncle.
The parents-to-be also posted about their pregnancy on Instagram.
They uploaded a joint post that included pictures of sweet memories they have shared since tying the knot. At the end of the clip, they were shown posing beside the Hamiltons as Matt Barnett cradled his wife’s growing baby bump.
“Where it started Where we’ve been Where we’re at…”Amber Barnett wrote in the caption. She then encouraged her followers to listen to “The Love Seat” to learn more about their recent life changes.
The Barnetts follow “Love Is Blind” stars Alexa and Brennon Lemieux, who welcomed their first child together in July, and Bliss Poureetezadi and Zack Goytowski, who became parents in April.
