Very pretty. Bodice is a little smaller than i thought it would be. Lots of material in skirt of dress. got the purple and turquoise one and the colors are beautiful and perfect for spring. I’m normally a L and I got the XL because it was cheaper (ha!) I’m 5’7” and it’s a true midi-length which I love! Lightweight material.

I ordered Smoke Black, it’s actually dk. Blue.
Not Black. This dress is dark blue. I am going to keep it. I like the fabric and the way it moves. Medium was a good fit for me. 5.4 135 lbs. 36/C I think if I had to, I would go up a size as I’m worried about shrinkage. (It may be too tight in the chest.).

It was way too big for me. I should have ordered only one size up, but I can sew, so was prepared to modify it. I sewed the bodice in by one inch on either side to the waistline, but because the dress flared out a lot, I actually drew lines 6 inches inwards from each side and tapered the dress to the waist. It's an absolutely perfect fit for me now, much more flattering, and I plan to order another colour and do the same modifications.
I washed the dress in a 20minute cycle at 30celcius with other dark colours and it washed up beautifully. I hung it out to dry (as pictured). It was a windy Melbourne day, and it dried quickly with no creases and no shrinkage or colour fade.
I like that the bodice part is lined, and the fabric is a decent weight cotton rayon blend. It will be great for travelling, weekend wear or "casual Fridays" at work.
I didn't like the deep neckline, so I just sewed a sneaky running stitch down from the lower tassels, and it looks modest now, without needing a singlet underneath.
The dress comes in lots of pretty prints, but I chose this one, because there is so much going on, Art Deco peacocks, yellow and teal contrasts, lots of bands of pattern. It looks a lot more expensive than it is.
It will be great for Melbourne's last month of winter right now, and the moderate weather of Spring.
