This deep conditioning hair treatment masque is made with Shea Butter, and Mafura and Baobab Oils that are blended with antioxidant-rich African Rock Fig to restore and lock in moisture while deeply conditioning. Smoothes and fortifies follicles for stronger, healthier, frizz-free hair. This hair masque blends certified organic Shea Butter, Honey, and Mafura and Baobab Oils with antioxidant-rich African Rock Fig to restore and lock in moisture. As is the case with all SheaMoisture hair products, this intensive hydration hair masque is formulated with no sulfates, no parabens, no phthalates, no mineral oil, no animal testing, and no petrolatum. To use: Section clean, wet hair. Apply this deep conditioner generously. Use a wide tooth comb to distribute this hair product evenly from root to ends. Leave in for 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. For extra conditioning, cover hair with a plastic cap. Apply moderate heat for up to 30 minutes. When using a steamer, do not cover hair. Moist heat will add to the masque's hydration. I have wasted so much money in the past on various deep conditioning hair masks I thought this would be the same. My hair was very dry I have coloured blonde, long straight hair and most masks leave my hair "crunchy" afterwards. This mask smells gorgeous and its the first time I have used manuka honey in a mask it won't be the last! Left on 10 mins, comb went straight through no leave in conditioner needed. The shine is insane.

The effectiveness of the hair masque is hydrating but the packaging can be better because as you can see in the picture. The scent of is lovely, the texture is great and the ingredients are what is needed for good hair hydration.

Yes it works, BUT, sooooo much of my hair was falling out after using this. Soooo much, an unusual amount. So if you want soft hair but less of it, buy.

I have long, dry, curly hair and this has helped bring moisture back into it. I will use this about once a month. It smells good, and overall pretty good ingredients. It helps my hair to look shiny and healthy again, as well as get my curls looking good. I usually get the packets and there is enough product for my thick and long hair. The only downfall about the packets is it can get messy trying to get all of the product out of it.

I have pretty porous and wild hair overall, ranging from type 2a-3a, and sun bleaching at the mids to ends, which I want to keep because of the nice natural transition to a rich golden color. I am also reluctant to lose much length as I am trying to grow it. I decided to give this product a try and it has been magical for the quality, appearance and long-lasting pleasant smell of my hair. It helps to lock out odors by mending crevices of strands, it gives new life to waves and curls, it nourishes my dry scalp without harmful buildup, and it has allowed my sun-bleached ends to glow and shine with hardly any actual splits or breakage.
