    You cannot go wrong with a Colubia Freezer dress. It has a semi-flared bottom to accommodate my larger legs/butt. I am 162 pounds, 5 ft 5 in tall and the medium works perfectly. I'm approximately and 8 up top. A larger size would gap in the arm pits. I live on a boat and own about 10 of these dresses in different patterns and colors. Super easy to wash, I line dry or they can go in a cool dryer setting. They are quick dry which is key to my lifestyle. Very cool and long enough to ride a bike of hop in/out of the dingy without flashing anyone.

    These dresses are comfortable, easy to wear if you're older and don't want a short skirt but you still want something cute. You can wear them on a boat, to the beach, or dress them up for a casual dinner. My only knock (besides the high Columbia brand price) is they are not for women with boobs. I'm 5'6" 34D/DD 135lbs and wear a Medium. The neckline is modestly cut but leaves no room for boobs so it flattens mine. If you have a stomach or a big booty you will have plenty of room. They are kind of pear shaped. I'd say if you're 34C or less you will like the cut.

    I love this dress!! I have purchased 5 of them, so far, all in black! A couple of different sizes have made it into my closet:one perfect fit for the ideal date night or go out dress and others in a variety of looseness for lounging, working at home, going to the store, "that cute oversized look", cover up for bathing suits. Be aware, Columbia straight sizes seem to run a little small on me, so pay attention on the size chart if you do choose one.

It may even be a little cooler than wearing nothing at all! When it is hot out, this dress is a multi-tasker: a bathing suit cover, a light dress for sightseeing, and with a cardigan, drinks and dinner. It is very sturdy and doesn't wrinkle. I've washed mine in a hotel sink with some detergent and then hung it up to dry for a few hours. The fabric dries very quickly, which is why it is so cooling and works so well in heat.
