Women have a greater probability of developing Alzheimer's disease than men. But the MIND (Mediterranean-DASH Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay) diet has emerged as a way to lower the chances of an Alzheimer's diagnosis.
The eating plan centers on brain-healthy foods such as nuts, green leafy vegetables, beans, whole grains, olive oil, fish, moderate wine consumption and poultry. Adding in extra blueberries and regular exercise will also go a long way to keep your brain sharp, experts say.
