If your valentine really loves sweet, fried dough (and really, who doesn't?), Krispy Kreme’s latest limited-edition doughnuts may be a better gift than a box of chocolates.

This year, the doughnut chain has teamed up with Oreo again for one of its four new Valentine's Day treats.

Krispy Kreme

The Oreo Cookie's & Kreme doughnut is a classic, heart-shaped yeast doughnut, filled with an Oreo cookie-flavored cream, then dipped in dark chocolate icing, topped with Oreo cookie crumbles and finished off a drizzle of red icing.

This isn't the first time Krispy Kreme has released heart-shaped doughnuts, a company representative told TODAY Food, but the Oreo Cookie's & Kreme flavor is the first time the brand has teamed up with Oreo for a Valentine's day pastry. Krispy Kreme previously released a limited-edition Oreo Cookies & Kreme variety but it wasn't shaped like heart.

If cookie crumbles aren't really your thing, the chain has three additional Valentine's Day-themed offerings this year, including a couple favorites returning from last year: an unglazed heart-shaped doughnut dipped in white icing and topped with a red, pink and white Valentine's sprinkle blend; a cream-filled heart-shaped doughnut dipped in pink icing that's decorated with sugar eyes, hearts and a joyful chocolate smile; and a chocolate-iced doughnut topped with festive Valentine's Day sprinkles.

These limited-edition doughnuts are available right now at all participating Krispy Kreme locations and will be in stores until, you guessed it, Feb. 14.

What's not available yet? A doughnut with lemon glaze, which was the big winner of Krispy Kreme's recent fan-selected-flavor contest. That sweet and slightly tart treat will be out this spring.
