"Breakfast at Tiffany's" isn't just a novel-turned-iconic movie any more.

Since Audrey Hepburn first appeared on the silver screen while daintily eating a croissant in front of the upscale jeweler decades ago, many have fantasized about enjoying a similar meal while staring at diamonds.

Now, you don't have to stand outside while enjoying that morning pastry. Tiffany & Co. has just opened its very first cafe — and it's serving breakfast and lunch!

The Blue Box Café is located at Tiffany & Co.'s flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York City. The restaurant is decked out with decor in the chain's signature robin's egg blue, accented with silver and white. The newly designed space is part of a recent renovation to the fourth floor of the famed jewelry store.

"Both the café and redesign of the home and accessories floor reflect a modern luxury experience," Reed Krakoff, Tiffany's chief artistic officer, said in a statement. "The space is experimental and experiential — a window into the new Tiffany." Indeed, the space looks like a Tiffany’s jewelry box come to life.

The menu includes a range of dishes, from breakfast items like truffle eggs and sweet pastries to lunch fare like the Fifth Avenue Maine lobster salad and a poached salmon with Ossetra caviar. Breakfast is prix fixe, set at $29 per person and lunch is $39. Both meals include a starter and a main course.

There is also, of course, a high tea featuring a variety of hot teas and finger sandwiches for $49 per person.

Twitter is already lining up.

The store says the new café will help Tiffany’s shoppers feel right at home during the busy holiday season, but in case anyone wants to take some of that cozy luxuriousness to-go, there’s always Tiffany’s newly launched upscale home and accessories line, which features such finery as a $350 straw or a $9,000 ball of yarn.

Blue Box opens to the public Friday, Nov. 10 and will be open during regular store hours (10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday) — so not only will you be able to enjoy breakfast and lunch at Tiffany’s, but even an early dinner, too.
