The holiday season is getting underway, which means pumpkin and eggnog flavored milk, yogurt and other products are starting to pop up in grocery stores. And now, some lucky shoppers in Connecticut and New York have a new seasonal flavor to look for in the dairy aisle.
Stew Leonard's, a Connecticut-based market known for a great shopping experience (and also as a great place to find love), has launched limited edition Apple Pie a la Mode milk just in time for Thanksgiving.
The Apple Pie a la Mode milk contains not just milk, but also Stew’s own line of vanilla ice cream, so it's extra rich. The milk used in the treat goes from a nearby farm to each of the stores in as little as 24 hours, according to a representative, keeping it super fresh and delicious — but that doesn't mean it'll last long.
Stew Leonard's Apple Pie Milk a la Mode is available now, for a limited time, and is sold in a half gallon glass containers for about $6 each.
This isn't the first time that Stew Leonard's has released seasonal limited edition milk. Last year, they had Christmas Cookie milk, which mimicked the flavor of a sugar cookie that's been dunked in milk. We hope this sweet dairy drink trend continues...
