3. John Frieda Luxurious Volume Root Booster, $5, Amazon
"This is a great product for blow drying fine hair and achieving a thicker texture without making it feel greasy by the end of the day. I also suggest using a thick cotton headband to put your hair in a high ponytail or topknot before bed. It won't leave a crease in the hair and adds some volume by the morning,” said Natè Bova, a stylist at Warren-Tricomi Salon whose clients include Catherine Zeta Jones, Rosario Dawson, Katharine McPhee and Katie Lee.

"For a more organic approach, try the Giovanni powder dry shampoo. It is made with corn starch to help absorb excess moisture and grape seed extract to energize the roots,” said Bova.
5. TRESemmé Fresh Start Volumizing Dry Shampoo, $7, Jet
“This is a great, go-to volumizing dry shampoo. It’s super affordable and doesn’t leave a white residue,” said Michelle Schwartz of B2V Salon in West Hollywood.
6. Not Your Mother’s Double Take Dry Finish Texture Spray, $14, Jet
“This is a great product to add volume and texture to help extend your blowout — without leaving any buildup,” said Schwartz, whose celebrity clients include Famke Janssen, Haley Strode, Sarah Jane Morris and Angela Relucio.
7. Johnson and Johnson Baby Powder, $5, Amazon
“This lightweight powder diffuses the natural oils that are in your hair and is gentle. Plus, it’s easy to apply: just add a small bit on your hands and rub gently until the white powder is infused in your hair. Baby powder is great because unlike most dry shampoos, the natural oils in your hair nourish your scalp rather than disrupt it," said Jamielynn De Leon, founder of Rogue House Salon in New York City.
8. L’Oreal Paris Volume Filler Densifying Gelee, $8, Jet
“I love this product because it spreads evenly throughout your hair and it has a protein mechanism that bonds your hair to accentuate fullness. A little goes a long way with this lightweight substance. The key is to not put too much when in use. It's best to add the product and then blow dry your head upside down to create even more volume. The price is on point and can last a long time,” said De Leon.
9. Alba Botanica Hawaiian Anti Frizz Serum, $6, Amazon
“One of my favorite cruelty-free products, this drugstore buy does two jobs in one. The main ingredient in the frizz serum is argan oil and keratin. It can be used before or after you blow dry your hair. It’s great for hair that is to prone to flyaways and frizz,” said De Leon.
10. L’Oreal Paris Advance Haircare Extraordinar Oil Transforming Oil-in-Cream Treatment, $6, Amazon
“Whether you use a salon-brand treatment or this effective product from L’Oreal, you will definitely extend the life of your blowout with coconut oil. The pre-wash conditioning treatment is restorative for any kind of hair and leaves it able to take on the effects of heat much better. It also smells nice so you can feel better about not washing your hair for several more days,” said TV hairstylist Rochelle Maribojoc of Spa Pechanga at Pechanga Resort & Casino.

“I love applying this product to any of my clients before a red carpet appearance.
